1300 ingredients banned in Europe but not in the USA

When it comes to safety regulations for cosmetic products, the US falls far behind many other nations.

The European regulations ban 1400 chemicals from being used in cosmetic formulations due to potential health concerns, while  the US bans less than 30 chemicals!

We were SHOCKED when we learned this 3 years ago when we first started researching the current market in skincare.  Not much has changed in those last 3 years in the US, but the European markets continued to add new ingredients to it’s banned list.

Our skin is the largest organ in our body and absorbs chemicals applied topically throughout the day.

If we don’t pay more attention to the ingredients in our cosmetic regimen, we could be exposing ourselves to potential health hazards.

For example, formaldehyde, a known carcinogenic agent, is allowed in the US but is banned not only in  European nations but also Japan.

Isobutyl and isopropyl parabens are not allowed at all in cosmetics in Europe and Southeast Asia, but allowed in the US.  These parabens are not only known to be endocrine disruptors, but are also linked to breast cancer, skin cancer and decreased sperm count.

When it comes to cosmetic regulations, the US falls behind over 40 nations, ranging from European nations such as the UK, France and Italy, to developing nations, like Cambodia and Indonesia.

Skincare products are used every day and remain on our skin all day.  Therefore, the ingredients in our skincare products have the biggest potential to be absorbed and affect our overall health.

Shouldn’t these products be more strictly regulated in the US?

But don’t you worry because we have done all the work for you.  We believe that skin care should be full of benefits, not potential complications.

Our products avoid all of the potentially harmful chemicals banned in Europe and are filled with nourishing ingredients to boost the health of your skin.

Our products are 100% Clean, Vegan & Cruelty Free.

They’re full of goodness such as algae, grapeseed oil and aloe vera gel (to name a few).

Our doctors have been in the medical field for over 28 combined years, we’ve done our research and we're here to change the skincare game!

We would NEVER produce anything that we wouldn’t put on our own - or our families’ - skin.

That’s our promise to you!
